This week we bring you Sean Fahey (CEO) and Mike Wojcenovich (CTO) of VidCruiter. Sean started this company when he noticed an opportunity or a gap while working in HR for an insurance company. He had to hire a lot of people in a short amount of time but did not see an automated solution for this. Being a serial entrepreneur, he went right to work and started a company to fill this need. VidCruiter automates the initial hiring process i.e the initial screening and interviews and provides the recruiter with the final list which he or she can use to get quality candidates for the position. According to Sean, if your company hires 10 or more people in a year, you can use VidCruiter and save yourself a lot of time. There is a free trial available to anyone that is thinking about trying their solution.

Mike joined VidCruiter as the opportunity to work for a startup was something he could not pass up. He had previously attempted a startup while in University, this experience has enabled him in making better technical decisions with VidCruiter. Mike's strong technical skills and background is a huge plus for VidCruiter.

Sean has financed VidCruiter with very little outside help, he has strong views on getting outside financing and prefers to bootstrap. He mentions books such as the Rich Dad Poor Dad series by Robert T. Kiyosaki and the The 4-Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss as books that have influenced and inspired him as an entrepreneur. He is also a huge fan of twitter, you can follow him at @sfahey. VidCruiter does not have an office and is run virtually using various technologies. Both Mike and Sean believe that there are significant advantages to running the business in this fashion, both in terms of cost and efficiency.

This interview is a must watch for any potential entrepreneurs that are debating between financing and bootstrapping their business.
